Casa Linda is a an attractive and popular villa in an elevated position behind the lovely long and sandy Meia Praia beach near Lagos. It is about a 3 minute drive to the beach or the town, (slightly more in August!) The Lagos Marina with lots of cafes and restaurants is at the end of the lane, about a 15 minute walk, and a further 5 minutes will take you across the foot bridge, over the river to the main Lagos esplanade. The access lane to the villa is quite narrow for walkers and has no pavements, then widens out and is lit when you reach the hill above the Marina. It is not suitable for pushchairs or the very young. The nearest golf course, the links course at Palmares, is perhaps a 10 minute drive, and a further 3 courses, tennis courts and riding stables are all within 30 minutes by car. Car essential.
The houses in this small development are all set in good sized plots with well tended gardens. The villa is spacious and airy and has been furnished and equipped to a good standard, and has the extra facility of air-conditioning in the bedrooms and living room. Casa Linda has lots of terraces for sunny outdoor living and a half acre garden. |

Entrance:
The villa is approached through an entrance into a large courtyard where there is a garden and good parking space at the front of the house. The front door leads into a large hall.

Lounge and Dining Room:
Glass panelled doors open into the spacious and comfortably furnished lounge / dining room. This lovely cool, white tiled room has an overhead fan or may be air-conditioned in the really hot weather. Satellite TV (limited channels only) DVD and video, and a radio/cassette/CD player (bring your own tapes). Dining table and chairs. Two sets of French doors lead out to a lovely large terrace where there are splendid views over the pool and garden and to the sea.

Kitchen:
Doors from both the hall and the dining end of the lounge lead into a fitted kitchen, which has a split level cooker with electric oven and gas/electric hob, large fridge with separate freezer, microwave oven, dishwasher and washing machine

Master Bedroom Suite 1:
A curved marble stairway leads up to the twin bedroom. En-suite bathroom, with bath and separate shower unit, twin basins, bidet and toilet. Individually controlled air-conditioning unit. French doors lead from the bedroom to a private terrace, from where more steps lead up to a roof terrace. The views from both these terraces are spectacular, across the villas, apartments and countryside to the sea, Lagos and the rocky coast around Praia Dona Ana.

A corridor to the left of the hall leads to the first twin bedroom, fitted wardrobes, doors out to the terrace. Full en-suite bathroom.

Swimming Pool and Garden:
To one side of the terrace which is outside the lounge and dining room there is a built-in gas BBQ and furniture for outside dining. Steps curve down from the terrace to the lovely swimming pool (11m x 5m) with built-in steps at the shallow end. It is surrounded by a large open terrace equipped with sunloungers. There is a shower by the pool. The pool has a thermal cover in the low and early seasons. Around the part-walled swimming pool is a large garden.
