New for 2010 Luz Bay Cottage 25 is one of the newer, typical Luz Bay style cottages, built in 2004. It is attractive and spacious, situated just 0.75 km and 5 mins walk to the sea in the charming small town of Luz. The cottage is furnished to a high standard and is typical of the Algarve with the bedrooms on the lower floor and the living area above to take advantage of the views. It boasts lovely sea views from the front balcony.
Luz has many bars, cafes and restaurants and even a discotheque / club. The Blue Flag beach offers safe bathing on the wonderful long sandy beach with all types of watersports from May to October. The historic town of Lagos is some six minutes drive away and has a vast range of restaurants to suit every taste. Palmares Golf Course, Boavista and Penina Golf Courses are a 5 to 25 minute drive away to the east, while Parque da Floresta Golf Course is a 20 minute drive to the west. For the children there are a variety of waterparks and theme parks within a 30 minute drive. Horse riding stables are at Almadena, also just a short drive away. There are many beaches nearby with Cape St Vincent and the National Park and the West Coast of Portugal (a surfer’s paradis) within 45 mins drive.There is an hourly bus service into Lagos, 6 kms away, and taxis are readily available from a rank in the town, so car hire is not necessary. |

There is parking on the quiet street outside. The entrance is up a few steps to the front door and opens into an open-plan hall.

Lounge and Dining Area:
A very good sized comfortably furnished lounge with two double sofas and two armchairs. Satellite TV (free channels only). French doors open out to the sunny upper balcony with table and chairs for 6 for outdoor dining. South-facing with some sea views.

Large arch opens into the fully fitted white kitchen equipped with gas hob, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge / freezer and all the usual cooking equipment.
