Villa Bela Vista is a well-established and popular villa in an exceptional position. Built some years ago above the cliffs with hardly a house in sight, it is now an island with its own private pool, terraces and garden. Though there are villas on both sides they are screened by hedges and trees and so the garden and pool area are not overlooked. There are magnificent uninterrupted views ahead to the sea from the first floor. It is just a few minutes walk (say 10) down to the lovely sheltered, sand beach of Porto do Mos where there are two restaurants. It is about the same distance to a group of bars, a food store and two restaurants en route to Lagos centre about 20 minutes away. A car is not essential for healthy walkers but a comfort in the very hot weather and is recommended to take in all the sights and to go to the beaches and to explore other parts of the Algarve.

Casa Linda is a an attractive and popular villa in an elevated position behind the lovely long and sandy Meia Praia beach near Lagos. It is about a 3 minute drive to the beach or the town, (slightly more in August!) The Lagos Marina with lots of cafes and restaurants is at the end of the lane, about a 15 minute walk, and a further 5 minutes will take you across the foot bridge, over the river to the main Lagos esplanade. The access lane to the villa is quite narrow for walkers and has no pavements, then widens out and is lit when you reach the hill above the Marina. It is not suitable for pushchairs or the very young. The nearest golf course, the links course at Palmares, is perhaps a 10 minute drive, and a further 3 courses, tennis courts and riding stables are all within 30 minutes by car. Car essential.
